SEO/PPC Executive (Maternity Cover)
City of London, Eastcheap EC3 (on-site)
The Role:
We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our team in a combined SEO and PPC analyst role, initially for 9-months to cover maternity leave, with the opportunity to become permanent for the right candidate. This is an ideal role for someone who has already 2 years in marketing with some exposure to either SEO or PPC (or both!) and would like to learn more. You will have the opportunity to learn technical and digital marketing skills and where your days will be full, your work impactful, and your skills continually evolving.
Key Responsibilities:
SEO
- Conduct web crawl analysis to audit for technical issues.
- Optimize on-page elements (metadata, headings, internal linking, schema, etc.) to improve search engine rankings.
- Perform keyword research to guide content creation and site optimization.
- Be able to create engaging written content targeting user intent.
- Monitor organic performance and provide actionable insights to improve rankings and traffic.
- Conduct keyword research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities.
- Write compelling ad copy and assist in the creation of landing pages that drive click-through rates and conversions.
- Monitor campaign performance and share insights on adjusting bids, budgets, and targeting to maximize ROI.
Essential Skills/Qualifications:
- Experience: Graduate degree and 2+ years’ experience in a similar role.
- Ability to research SEO strategies and apply learning and insights to help make informed decisions for both organic and paid campaigns.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively collaborate with the marketing and front of house team.
Nice to have:
- Undergraduate degree with a 2:1 or higher. GCSE or equivalent with at least 2 years work experience in a similar industry/office-based role
- A keen interest in the technical side of online marketing
